Superintendent – Howard A. Liebman, Ph.D.
- The primary purpose of the Superintendent’s office is to manage the Smart Horizons Career Online Education school system and to provide leadership according to the school district’s vision.
Curriculum & Instruction Office – 850-475-4004
Director of Curriculum & Instruction – Tambri McKinney
- The primary purpose of the Curriculum & Instruction office is to assist Smart Horizons Career Online Education’s district personnel in improving online, self-directed instruction through the development, revision, and maintenance of the district-wide curriculum. Through training development, the curriculum specialists and instructional designers assist district personnel in implementing state standards, as well as, "best practices" for improving student achievement.
District Improvement Planning Office – 850-475-4000
Director of District Improvement Planning – Rob Miller, Ph.D.
- The primary purpose of the District Improvement Planning office is to recommend an annual district-wide continuous improvement planning process, which contains the following steps:
- Analysis of data (achievement, demographic, perception)
- Identify measurable district-wide goals as based on needs identified through data analysis
- Identify actions for implementation to support district-wide goals (these include professional development and student/community involvement)
- Identify ways to monitor progress and evaluate meeting of the goals
- Monitor implementation and effectiveness of the district-wide improvement plan
Enrollment Management Office – 850-475-4009
Director of Enrollment Management – Emily Atchison
- The primary purpose of the Enrollment Management Office is to provide enrollment services for students and prospective students to become admitted and remain enrolled within Smart Horizons Career Online Education. In addition, the Enrollment Management office seeks to ensure a stable student body size of academically prepared students and promote the retention and graduation of students. Among the service units included are the offices of Admissions, Office of the Registrar, as well as those units in the Division of Student Affairs that support similar enrollment needs including New Student Programs.

Director of Information Technology – Dan Pupek
- The primary purpose of the Information Technology office is to ensure the delivery of safe, secure and high performing networks and systems to district employees and students.
Human Resources Office – 850-475-4013
Director of Human Resources – Danette Christiansen
- The primary purpose of the Human Resources office is to provide full-service human resources support for all faculty & staff.
