Due to high demand, Smart Horizons Career Online Education (SHCOE) announces that it is launching two new credentialed career certificate options for students enrolled in its unique online education program: the Retail and Customer Service Skills Certificate and the Food and Customer Service Skills Certificate.
Founded in 2009, SHCOE is the world’s first AdvancED/SACS- accredited online school district, offering an instructional program that enables students to earn an 18-credit high school diploma and a credentialed career certificate in one convenient online package.
The new Retail and Customer Service Skills Certificate provides a comprehensive overview of skills critical to success and advancement in the retail world. Students pursuing this certificate will complete career coursework in areas such as management and customer service skills.
The Food and Customer Service Skills Certificate is designed to prepare students for hospitality and restaurant services careers. The curriculum includes courses such as Customer Service Skills and Food Safety, and prepares students for the Prometric Certified Professional Food Manager (CPFM) exam.
Other credentialed career certificates offered to SHCOE students are: Childcare and Education, Certified Protection Officer, Certified Transportation Services, Homeland Security, Office Management, and Professional Skills.
